Welcome to Dhamalie Community Services(CIC) and thank you for taking a look at our website. You will see that we offer a wide range of courses in many areas. Many students come to our training center and benefit from good results- many examination passes and students going to university. A pleasant atmosphere, and determination to help them succeed. Induction
To help you settle into the college, you will have a special induction programme at the begining of your course. You will be shown around the premises and get to meet your tutors and members of staff. You will learn about your course and what is expected of you.
Tutorial Support
If you enrol for a full time course, you will have aq tutor who will be your first point of contact for help, advice and information. they will meet with you every fortnight and provide you with a tutorial programme and learning plan. Your tutor will also help you feedback on how you are doing on the course and identify your success as well as areas for development.

You will receive advice on possible careers, courses or progression to higher education from your tutor and/or one of our Careers Advisers. If you decide you want to look for work when you;ve finished your course, we will give you help with job search skills, completing application forms, writing CVs and iterview techniques.
Some of our vocational courses include a period of work experience, which will help increase your skills and knowledge.

Some students use child minders, in which case we may be able to assist with the cost. However we are only able to pay child minders who are both registered on an official self-employment basis.
